Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and programming skills, with hands-on experience in database testing and Unix environments. Exposure to contemporary automation tools and cloud platforms is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
- Develop automated test suites covering:
- Functional
- Regression
- API
- End-to-End scenarios
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions
- Perform test planning, execution, and defect tracking activities
- Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for automation integration
- Validate data integrity by performing database testing using SQL queries




- Execute tests in Unix/Linux environments and support deployment validations
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in QA automation
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Selenium and any other automation tool
- Java programming
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good understanding of:
- Automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, BDD/Cucumber – preferred)
- SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Strong SQL expertise (mandatory)
- Solid foundation in:
- OOP principles
- Data structures & algorithms
- Design patterns for automation frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with database testing (SQL)
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environments
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, AL
