Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing current web applications.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Creating back-end components.
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
- Connecting applications with additional web servers.
- Maintaining APIs.
- Experience working with ruby on rails as well as libraries.
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery.
- A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design.
- Passion for writing outstanding, simple, clean, efficient code.
- Positive knowledge of relational databases.
- Working knowledge of MySQL databases.
