Description
FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR IN MATHEMATICS
Eligibility:
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in Arts/ Science discipline with Mathematics as a subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- M.Sc. /M.A. degree in Mathematics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- A minimum of three years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Associate Professor in Mathematics from University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level in the subject of Mathematics.
- A minimum of ten research publications in peer reviewed/UGC listed/CARE listed journals out of which three research papers shall be published during the assessment period.
- Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses,



and technology – mediated teaching learning process.

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN MATHEMATICS
Eligibility:
- Positive academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in Arts/ Science discipline with Mathematics as a subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- M.Sc. /M.A. degree in Mathematics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- A minimum of three years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in Mathematics from a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry.
- A candidate must have completed any one of the following: (a) RC/ Methodology Workshop/Syllabus Up-gradation Workshop/ Teaching- Learning-Evalua
