Job Title Supply Chain Associate Department Engineering Location Panjim-Goa India Reports To Engineering Manager Notice Period Immediate Joiner will be preferred Salary Rs 25 000 - Rs 30 000 Experience expected 1-3 relevant years of exp No of vacancy 2 Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Associate to join our R D-focused company In this role you will be responsible for managing procurement inventory and logistics to ensure the seamless fulfillment of the engineering team s requirements You will collaborate closely with vendors track shipments and maintain optimal stock levels to support ongoing research and development projects This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation through efficient supply chain operations Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and fulfill their material and equipment requirements Research and learn simultaneously on the new materials Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials tools and equipment required for R D activities Understand the market trends in terms of material pricing for counter negotiations Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality assurance Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels for engineering tools materials and consumables Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping Provide timely updates on order status and expected delivery timelines Coordinate with transport providers for timely and secure delivery of equipment Resolve any shipping delays or issues in a prompt manner Maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders invoices delivery notes and inventory levels Qualifications 1 Educational Requirements Bachelor s degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering will be preferred Candidates with MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management will be an added advantage 2 Experience 0-1 year of experience in relevant industry 1-3
