Purpose (of the role):
The Configuration Specialist operates within a structured, scalable delivery model focused on executing well-defined configuration activities through a centralised intake process (e.g. ServiceNow). Work items are assigned with detailed requirements, contextual information, and predefined standards via structured request forms, enabling consistent, high-quality delivery at scale.
This role is responsible for accurately executing repeatable,



process-driven tasks using established methodologies, documentation, and configuration standards. The Specialist applies attention to detail and discipline to ensure outputs are reliable, traceable, and aligned with global best practices.
Operating as part of a global delivery capability, the role emphasises efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement. There is no direct client engagement; instead, the focus is on dependable execution, effective use of tooling (including AI-assisted capabilities), and contribution to reusable knowledge assets such as the Services Catalogue.
