Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Website Design: Collaborate with the design team to help create aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly websites and web pages.
Wireframing and Mockups: Support senior designers in creating wireframes, mockups, and visual layouts for client websites.
Learn and Implement Design Tools: Use design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch to create visual assets and components.
Responsive Design: Learn and implement responsive design principles to ensure websites look excellent on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Collaborate with Developers: Work with web developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly, and help ensure smooth integration of design elements.
Content Updates: Assist in updating website content, graphics, and layout as required.
Research: Assist in conducting research on current web design trends, tools, and technologies to stay updated.
Quality Assurance: Help with basic testing to ensure that designs display properly on different browsers and screen sizes.
Qualification:
Education:
A degree or diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or any related field (or recent graduate).
Design Skills: Basic knowledge of web design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
Familiarity with Design Tools: Experience (even basic) with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
HTML & CSS: A foundational understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with web development is a plus but not required.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs.
Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to develop recent skills and adapt to industry trends and technologies.
Positive Communication Skills: Ability to work in a team and communicate ideas clearly.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of JavaScript or basic front-end development.
Experience with WordPress or any CMS.
Basic understanding of SEO and its application in design.
Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools.
