Job Overview

Zaoq is looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Steward to support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, disciplined, and willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, workstations, and kitchen areas.
Wash dishes, plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils as required.
Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation and other support activities when required.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain waste segregation practices.
Ensure adequate availability of clean utensils and kitchen equipment during service.
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, floors, sinks, and other kitchen spaces.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
Handle kitchen cleaning materials and equipment safely.




Support the Chef and kitchen team during busy service hours.
Follow restaurant SOPs and grooming standards.
Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge
0–2 years of experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Helper, or similar role preferred.
Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to handle cleaning and kitchen support tasks efficiently.

Soft Skills
Hardworking and physically fit.
Good teamwork and coordination skills.
Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen workplace.
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
