An Assistant Manager – Maintenance is a supervisory role responsible for ensuring that equipment, machinery, facilities, or utilities are maintained safely and efficiently while supporting the maintenance manager.
Planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance.
Leading maintenance technicians and assigning daily work.
Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
Coordinating with production or operations teams.
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Maintaining maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
Managing contractors and vendor services when needed.
Assisting with budgeting, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills required
Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems.
Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Root cause analysis and problem-solving.
Team leadership and communication.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering.
Relevant maintenance experience (often 3–8 years, depending on the industry).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
