We are seeking skilled and dedicated VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operators with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machining. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently operating machines, ensuring precision, and maintaining production quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate VMC/CNC machines efficiently to meet production targets
Set up workpieces, fixtures, and tools as per job requirements
Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and basic programming edits (if required)
Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards and tolerances
Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection reports
Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of the work area
10th / 12th pass or ITI (Machinist / Turner / Fitter preferred)
Minimum 1 year experience as a VMC/CNC Operator
Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations and tooling
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and willing to work in shifts
Disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills:
Basic CNC programming knowledge (G-code understanding)
Experience with different materials (steel, aluminum, etc.)
Knowledge of preventive machine maintenance
