The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and skilled standards.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Monitor vital signs and observe patient condition; report any abnormalities to the concerned doctor.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency situations.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
Ensure infection control practices and maintain cleanliness of patient care areas.
Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medications, and post-care instructions.




Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and ethical standards.
Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Handle medical equipment safely and report any malfunction.
Participate in continuous nursing education and training programs.

Duties in Emergency / Critical Situations
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving nursing care.
Assist in CPR and emergency procedures as per protocol.
Coordinate with doctors and other departments during emergencies.

Experience:
1–3 years experience in hospital (ICU/Emergency/Ward preferred)
