About the Role

FinBox is looking for a Principal Engineer - QA to lead and scale our Quality Engineering function. This role combines technical leadership, quality strategy, and engineering excellence to build scalable automation, improve release quality, and establish organization-wide quality standards. Youll partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security teams to drive automation-first practices, strengthen CI/CD quality, and build a culture where quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

What Youll Do
Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Design and scale automation frameworks across Web, API, Mobile, and Performance testing.
Establish quality gates and automation within CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and faster releases.
Drive engineering quality through automation, platform reliability, and continuous process improvements.
Define quality metrics, improve engineering visibility, and reduce production defects.
Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Mentor and develop high-performing Quality Engineering teams while fostering a culture of ownership and engineering excellence.

What Were Looking For




8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including leading quality initiatives in high-growth product organizations.
Strong expertise in automation architecture, test strategy, and CI/CD-driven Quality Engineering.
Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
Valuable understanding of AWS, including cloud infrastructure, service deployment, scalability, and infrastructure optimization.
Experience building scalable automation frameworks and improving engineering quality at scale.
Proven experience leading Quality Engineering teams and driving organization-wide quality transformation.
Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence engineering and product teams.
Experience in FinTech, SaaS, or other product-based companies is preferred.
Exposure to AI-driven testing, performance engineering, or security testing is an added advantage.
