Qualification: Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical with 2 - 3 years of experience in a Mechanical/Metallography Testing Laboratory.
Skills Required
Knowledge of mechanical testing such as Tensile, Bend, Impact (Charpy), and Hardness testing.
Basic understanding of metallography and sample preparation.
Experience in specimen cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and material specifications.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
Knowledge of material traceability and test documentation.
Basic understanding of ASTM, ASME, ISO, or IS testing standards.
Experience in preparing test reports and maintaining laboratory records.
Knowledge of calibration and preventive maintenance of testing equipment.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
