Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures by arranging instruments, catheters, guidewires, stents, and consumables.
Assist cardiologists during procedures such as:
Coronary Angiography (CAG)
Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA/PCI)
Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation
Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty
Device Closure Procedures
Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and related devices.
Monitor ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and other vital parameters throughout procedures.
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
Prepare and position patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure support.
Assist in emergency cardiac interventions,
including STEMI and code situations.
Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and equipment logs.
Coordinate inventory management and ensure availability of consumables and emergency supplies.
Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
Participate in rotational shifts, on-call duties, weekends, and emergency coverage as required.
