Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.
Provide individual and group counselling to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
Develop intervention plans to support students with academic, emotional, and mental health concerns.
Collaborate with teachers to create inclusive classroom strategies and behavior management plans.
Work closely with parents to provide guidance on students' emotional and developmental needs.
Identify students requiring specialized support and coordinate referrals to external professionals when necessary.
Support crisis intervention and student well-being initiatives.
Conduct workshops for students, parents, and staff on topics such as mental health, stress management, emotional intelligence, bullying prevention, and resilience.
Maintain confidential records of assessments, counselling sessions, and interventions.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), where applicable.

Qualification
M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Educational, or Child Psychology).




Additional qualification or certification in Child Psychology or School Psychology is preferred.
RCI registration is desirable for candidates working with students requiring special educational support.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a School Psychologist in a CBSE/ICSE/International School.
Experience working with children and adolescents across different age groups.

Skills Required
Solid knowledge of child and adolescent psychology.
Expertise in psychological assessment and counselling techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
High level of empathy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
Robust report writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Knowledge
CBSE guidelines on student well-being and inclusive education.
Learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and mental health interventions.
Crisis management and safeguarding practices.
Psychometric assessment tools and evidence-based counselling approaches.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
