Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during OPD consultations, ward rounds, and emergency care.
Take detailed patient history and perform preliminary physical examinations.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and clinical progress.
Prepare patients for medical examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Coordinate laboratory investigations, radiology tests, and review reports with the consultant.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Assist in emergency situations and ensure prompt clinical support.
Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare specialists for effective patient management.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control policies, and hospital protocols.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all clinical activities.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant from a recognized institution.
Registration/Certification as applicable under institutional or state requirements is preferred.
Experience
Fresher to 2 years of experience in a multispeciality hospital.
