Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage the New Product Development (NPD) function at Caresmith.
This role will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of new product launches — from market research and supplier sourcing to sampling, production coordination, packaging, quality checks, and launch readiness.
The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills,



supplier management experience, commercial understanding, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, design, logistics, finance, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development (NPD)
Drive end-to-end execution of new product launches, product variations, and packaging upgrades.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor opportunities across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and D2C brands.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and marketplace research regularly.
Coordinate product sampling, testing, approvals, costing, and negotiations.
Work closely with the design team for packaging and artwork coordination.
Ensure timely execution from product sign-off to market launch.
Maintain structured NPD trackers and participate in monthly review meetings.
Take proactive ownership of product quality concerns by conducting detailed root cause analysis (
