We are seeking a Graphic Designe r to create age-appropriate educational assets and layouts for K-12 materials. Working strictly within client-provided guidelines, templates, and asset libraries, you will translate complex curriculum concepts into clear, engaging illustrations, diagrams, and components across various grade levels .
Key Responsibilities
1. Asset Creation & Adaptation
Guideline Compliance: Deliver vector illustrations, infographics, maps, and diagrams that strictly adhere to client-furnished style guides, color palettes, and technical specifications. Age-Appropriate Design: Tailor graphics to match specific K-12 developmental tiers as outlined by the client's creative brief. Photo Editing: Source, crop, and color-correct imagery to align with the client's asset guidelines and diversity requirements. 2. Layout Integration & Delivery
Component Placement: Design chapter openers, feature boxes,
and icons that seamlessly integrate into the client's provided In Design templates. Technical Packaging: Organize, name, and package a high volume of digital assets according to the client’s exact file structure and delivery specifications. 3. Feedback Iteration
Editorial Alignment: Collaborate with internal and client teams to quickly iterate on designs based on curriculum and pedagogical feedback.
Key Qualifications
Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (vector creation), Photoshop (image editing), and In Design (layout integration). Execution: Demonstrated ability to follow strict corporate or client design guidelines without losing creative quality. Experience: 2+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in a client-facing, production-heavy, or educational publishing workplace.
