Qualification:
Qualification BE/B.Tech in Engineering.
ADIS/DIS/PDIS/NEBOSH IGC

Experience:
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience as a Safety Officer out of which 3 - 5 years should be in Thermal Power Plant.

Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with site safety rules, statutory regulations, and client HSE requirements.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Carry out toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for the workforce.
Monitor work permit systems and ensure compliance before work commencement.
Inspect PPE usage and enforce proper safety practices at the worksite.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, and safety documentation.
Monitor high-risk activities such as hot work, work at height, confined space entry,



lifting operations, and electrical work.
Coordinate emergency response activities, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards across the worksite.
Coordinate with client representatives and contractors on safety-related matters.
Promote a positive safety culture through regular awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.
Monitor compliance with environmental, health, and occupational safety standards.
Verify that safety equipment, fire extinguishers, and emergency response systems are in valuable working condition.
Support management in achieving project HSE objectives with zero accidents and regulatory
