Job Summary:
A Food Packer is responsible for preparing, packing, and labeling food products for storage and distribution while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack food items into containers, boxes, or packaging materials according to company standards
Ensure correct portioning, weighing, and labeling of products
Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Inspect food items for quality before packing
Seal packages properly to prevent contamination or damage
Operate basic packing machinery (if required)
Store packed items in designated areas
Assist in loading and unloading goods when needed
Follow instructions from supervisors and meet daily targets
Requirements:
Basic education (10th/12th pass preferred)
Prior experience in food handling or packing is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks
Positive attention to detail and cleanliness
Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices
Teamwork and reliability
Work Setting:
Food production units, warehouses, or factories
May involve working in cold storage or temperature-controlled areas
Shift-based work, including weekends if required
