Job Description

Role: Kubernetes SME

Location: Onsite – SBI Mumbai

Work Mode: Shift-based Support

Experience: 6–10+ Years

Role Summary

Provide hands-on support for Kubernetes platform operations, troubleshooting, deployments, and

production issue resolution in a shift-based workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Operational support for Kubernetes clusters.
Monitor cluster health, pods, services, ingress, storage, and nodes.
Troubleshoot deployments, networking, DNS, certificates, and resource issues.
Support deployments, rollbacks, scaling, and configuration changes.
Work with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Network, and Application teams.
Handle incidents, changes, RCA, upgrades, backup/restore, and maintenance.
Manage RBAC, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PV/PVC, StorageClasses.
Support monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, Splunk.

Kubernetes Administration, Docker/containerd, Helm, YAML, Linux, Shell Scripting, CI/CD,

DevOps, Kubernetes Networking, CNI, DNS, Load Balancing, Monitoring & Logging, RBAC,

Network Policies, Production Support.

Shift Expectations

Rotational shifts, weekend support if required, incident/problem/change management.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4–5 years hands-on

Kubernetes/platform support experience.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
