The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization while ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in the ERP/Tally system.
Prepare and record journal entries, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and contra entries.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare vendor payments and customer invoices.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.
Reconcile vendor, customer, and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Prepare GST data, TDS workings, and assist in statutory compliance.
Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
Process employee reimbursements and maintain expense records.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare MIS reports,
financial statements, and management reports as required.
Coordinate with procurement, stores, and project teams for invoice verification and payment processing.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Perform any other finance and accounts-related duties assigned by the management.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com/MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Proficiency in Tally Prime and/or ERP systems.
Positive knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Positive analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy.
