This is a full-time in office role for an Assistant Manager Electrical at KOTHARI FERMENTATION AND BIOCHEM LTD. - India, located in Sikandarabad. The Assistant Manager Electrical will be responsible for electrical maintenance, electricity management, electrical engineering, electrical design, and power distribution tasks. They will oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations. Essential Duties :
Preventive and Routine Maintenance of Plant's Electrical Assets like LT Motors, switch and control gears LT & HT
panels (MCC-PCC-APFC), DG sets, Transformers, LT & HT breakers, starters, AC drives, soft starters etc.
To work with HT and LT voltage levels
Knowledge of DG Operation and power changeover
Design & Selection capabilities for new projects (including Cable sizing/routing/Laying)
Energy management/Cost control
Knowledge of commissioning of the aforesaid (Point-1) items
Knowledge regarding state electricity board norms and liaisoning
Team handling for productive and trouble-free operations
Proactive approach with positive communication skills & Analytical ability
Knowledge of FLAMEPROOF electrical equipments
General awareness about electrical safety and PPE
Understanding of the principles and application of ISO and OHSAS
ERP/SAP module awareness
Enthusiastic, Flexible & competent to adopt changes
Qualifications
Electrical Maintenance, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering skills
Experience in electrical design and power distribution
Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical codes
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in renowned distilleries/fermentation/yeast manufacturing/core electrical plant and utility maintenance
Proficient in English language (read/write/speak) is highly desirable
