Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC/VMC/HMC Machine Setter responsible for machine setup, job changeover, tooling adjustment, and maintaining smooth machining operations. The candidate should ensure production quality, minimize downtime, and support production targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform setup and changeover of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines.
Set tools, fixtures, jaws, and work offsets as per process requirements.
Load and verify CNC programs before production start.
Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspection approval.
Monitor machining operations and support operators during production.
Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
Adjust machine parameters, tool offsets, and cutting conditions when required.
Troubleshoot setup and machining-related issues.
Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Maintain setup sheets, tooling records, and production documentation.
Reduce setup time, machine downtime,



and rejection levels.
Follow SOP, safety standards, 5S, and shop floor discipline.
Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement activities.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machine setup and operations
Understanding of tooling, fixtures, and offsets
Ability to read engineering drawings and process sheets
Knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Basic understanding of G-code and M-code
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualification:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Preferred Industry:
Automotive / Precision Engineering / Manufacturing Industry

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
