About the Role
Parikh and Associates is looking for a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to support the design team in developing and executing interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations
Prepare detailed drawings, working drawings, and basic construction documentation
Support senior designers in project coordination and execution
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors as required
Conduct site visits and assist in monitoring project progress
Help in material selection, mood boards, and design detailing
Work collaboratively with the internal design team on multiple projects
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards
Required Skills & Software Proficiency
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
Basic knowledge of rendering software such as D5 or Enscape
Understanding of design detailing and construction drawings
Good communication and coordination skills
Robust willingness to learn and grow within the design field
Qualifications
Degree or relevant diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong sense of aesthetics and space planning
Basic portfolio showcasing academic or professional interior projects
Ability to work in a cooperative and deadline-driven setting
Detail-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
Passionate about interior design and project execution
