We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in compliance work, and ensuring smooth processing of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Pass accounting entries in Tally (Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Journal)
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and supporting records
Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly
Assist in GST-related work (data preparation, reconciliation, basic return support)
Prepare and verify invoices, e-invoice, e-way bills, and billing documentation
Monitor receivables and payables, follow up if required
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Assist senior accountants in finalization and audit support work
Skills Required
Robust understanding of basic accounting concepts
Hands-on experience in Tally (Prime/ERP 9)
Working knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, data handling)
Basic knowledge of GST and taxation
Positive numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to meet deadlines and manage routine accounting tasks
Preferred
Experience in billing, e-invoicing, or accounting related work
Exposure to GST portal and compliance processes
Basic understanding of TDS
