The Legal Content Writer will research and draft accurate, well-structured legal and compliance-related content across a range of formats, including articles, guides, case summaries, and client-facing materials. Working closely with Loch's legal and marketing functions, the Legal Content Writer will ensure that all content reflects correct legal terminology and current regulatory positions while remaining accessible to its intended audience. This role suits an experienced legal writer who can balance accuracy with clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Research and draft legal and compliance content across formats including articles, guides, blogs, and client-facing materials
Translate complex legal concepts into explicit, accurate, and audience-appropriate content
Collaborate with legal researchers and subject matter experts to verify accuracy of content
Proofread and edit legal content prior to internal or external publication
Adapt tone and style of content to suit different practice areas, audiences, and platforms
Maintain a content calendar and track deliverables against agreed timelines
Apply basic SEO principles to legal content where appropriate
Stay current on relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting content areas
Maintain organised records of published and in-progress content, including source references
