We invite applications for the role of Occupational Minor Coordinator for our Undergraduate (BA/ BSc) programmes.

Azim Premji University, Bhopal started operations in August 2023, offering postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The first phase of campus construction is complete and the overall 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art academic and residential facilities will be ready over the next few years. We expect to grow to about 4000 students and 500 members over the next few years.

We are expanding our programme offerings and are inviting applications for full time positions. We offer the members an enriching and fulfilling institution building experience encompassing setting up and implementation of key institutional processes, culture building and participation in various institutional bodies.

Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Minor Coordinator, you will be required to:
Develop relationships with external organisations and facilitate field immersion course during the summer between 4th and 5th semester.




Develop a comprehensive understanding of the various Occupational Minor programmes offered at the University and effectively articulate them to partnering organisations.
Make frequent visits to partnering organisations to nurture the relationship and understand the nature of their work.
Facilitate internship opportunities for students in external organisations.
Help students with bookkeeping and verify their expense sheets during the immersion and internship courses.
Help students in understanding the work culture, responsibilities and nature of work at various external organisations.
Coordinate with the faculty members to identify students suited to the needs of the external organisations and map them accordingly.
Become the point of contact for partnering organisations, faculty members and students at the University with respect to field visits and internships.
Maintain and regularly update a database of various organisations and their ongoing project
