We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting function for our jewellery business. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and bookkeeping, with experience handling end-to-end accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting cycle, including day-to-day accounting operations.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely bookkeeping.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and audits.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and compliance.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Ensure compliance with statutory, financial, and tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
Prepare MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.




Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewellery or retail industry.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, financial accounting, and taxation.
Experience in preparing financial statements and handling statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
Jewellery industry accounting experience.
Knowledge of inventory and stock accounting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
