Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical)
Prepare & implement QAP, ITP, WPS/PQR, and QA procedures.
Ensure compliance with ASME (Sec VIII, IX), ISO 9001, and client specs.
Conduct inspections (fit-up, welding, NDT, PWHT, final) and witness testing.
Coordinate with vendors, third-party inspectors, and clients.
Maintain QA documentation (MDR, NCR, MTC, test reports, traceability).
Handle NCRs, perform RCA, and implement CAPA.
Ensure welder qualification and NDT compliance (RT/UT/PT/MT).
Support audits and ensure QMS implementation.
Final inspection and dispatch clearance.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, or heavy fabrication industry is mandatory.

Required Skills & Competencies:
Robust knowledge of ASME codes (Section VIII, IX) and ISO standards.
Positive understanding of welding, NDT, and fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Robust documentation and reporting skills.
Problem-solving and root cause analysis capability.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
