About the Role

LPT is looking for an SEO Executive with 1 - 5 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization. The selected candidate will work on LPTs websites and help improve organic visibility, rankings, traffic, and content performance across multiple education-focused web properties. The role requires strong knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, guest blogging, keyword research, content optimization, and the emerging area of GEO, which focuses on improving visibility across AI search platforms and generative search experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Work on SEO for LPTs websites to improve organic traffic, keyword rankings, and search visibility.
Conduct keyword research for blogs, web pages, category pages, and more.
Optimize website pages for meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, schema, and content structure.
Perform on-page SEO audits and implement improvements across existing and recent pages.
Coordinate with content writers to create SEO-friendly blogs and website content.
Handle guest blogging activities, including prospecting websites, outreach, content coordination, and link placement tracking.
Track keyword rankings,



traffic trends, backlinks, and competitor SEO activities.
Identify new SEO opportunities for LPTs websites, blogs, and city/category/service pages.
Prepare regular SEO reports and share insights on growth, issues, and next steps.
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, AI search changes, and best practices.

Required Skills

1 - 5 years of practical SEO experience.

Positive understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, off-page SEO, and content SEO.

Experience with guest posting, blogger outreach, and backlink-building activities.

Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, CMS platforms, and SEO-friendly page formatting.

Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword research tools, and SEO audit tools.

Ability to analyze rankings, traffic, indexing issues, and page-level SEO performance.

Positive communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work with content, design, and development teams.

Interest in AI search, GEO, and the changing search landscape.
