ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Manager Contracts (Construction) will be responsible for end-to-end contract management for civil works across high-rise and residential projects. The role involves drafting and administering subcontract agreements, managing variations and claims, ensuring contractual compliance, and supporting project teams in commercial and contractual matters to mitigate risk and ensure cost and time control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Draft and review civil subcontract agreements and commercial terms for high-rise and residential projects.
Manage contract administration, change orders, addendums, and contractual documentation.
Issue and respond to contractual notices related to delays, deviations, and clarifications.
Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and EOT requests based on site progress.
Handle contractor termination process including notices, cure periods, and transition to current contractors.
Verify work quantities for billing and support QS in measurement validation.
Assist in basic estimation and rate analysis during scope changes or revised drawings.
Monitor contractor compliance with contract terms, milestones, slab cycles, and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers, planning,



QA/QC, and procurement for contractual compliance.
Prepare MIS reports on contract status, claims, and contract-related risks.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of civil construction contracts and subcontracting practices
Proficiency in contract administration, claims management, and dispute avoidance
Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract clauses
Solid analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills
Effective coordination and stakeholder management abilities
High attention to detail and commercial acumen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
8–12 years of relevant experience in Contracts & Commercial management for high-rise or residential construction projects
Experience working with developers or EPC contractors preferred
