Position Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding business opportunities in the Food & Chemical industry by promoting WAM India's complete range of Bulk Material Handling & Processing Equipment. The role involves identifying current business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, providing technical solutions, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve assigned sales targets for the Food & Chemical industry segment.
Identify and develop current customers, OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end users.
Promote WAM India's range of bulk material handling and processing equipment.
Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers through regular visits and technical discussions.




Understand customer processes and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
Track ongoing projects, expansions, and upcoming investments within assigned territories.
Coordinate with Application Engineering, Design, Production, Customer Service, and Commercial teams for timely proposal submission and order execution.
Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and customer demonstrations.
Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, industry trends, and customer requirements.
Maintain CRM records and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
Ensure timely collection of payments in coordination with the Finance team.
Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to promote WAM products.
