Role Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner and gatekeeper of the Issue Management Lifecycle, updating based on key framework component updates or business changes (e.g. risk events, lessons learned and regulatory changes).
Conduct periodic reviews to assess adherence to the Issue Management Lifecycle across business units, highlighting to the respective CCO stakeholders where non-adherence is identified.
Develop and maintain supporting procedures and process guides.
Deliver comprehensive training and provide refresher training to maintain competency and reinforce best practices.
Produce comprehensive monthly governance reports and analyze issue management trends for senior management and Board-level committees.
Prepare responses to ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management, regulators, and external auditors.
Build and maintain robust relationships with issue management stakeholders, partnering with business unit teams to embed effective issue management practices.
Mandatory Skill Set :
Proven track record of establishing or improving issue management programs in a financial services context
Relevant risk management and control experience within Investment Banking, Audit, a consulting firm or related industry
Experience operating in a regulated environment
Experience managing stakeholders across the Three Lines of Defence
Positive communication skills with solid attention to detail
Desired Skill Set :
Experience with ServiceNow IRM Issues Management module
Familiarity with cyber security, resilience and related domains
Acts as a catalyst for change and inspires confidence in stakeholders
