Job Summary:
The Research Assistant will support agricultural research and farm management activities to ensure successful crop development activities and field research operations.
Manage day-to-day farm operations including sowing, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
Assist in crop management, pest and disease monitoring, and implementation of agronomic practices.
Conduct research activities related to seed development and crop improvement.
Monitor experimental plots and ensure compliance with research protocols.
Ensure strict follow-up of SOPs for usage of equipment s in field.
Monitoring and management of breeding farms
Collection and recording of research related data in a systematic way.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of crop management and agronomic practices.
Basic understanding of agricultural research and field trials.
Data recording and reporting skills.
Positive analytical, observational, and communication abilities.
Willingness to work extensively in field conditions.
