Job Purpose:

To supportprocurement activities for dyes and chemicals by ensuring timely purchase,coordination with vendors, and smooth material availability for productionwhile learning company processes and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure dyes, chemicals, and Textile related rawmaterials as per production and inventory requirements.

Support the preparation and processing of PurchaseOrders (POs) in SAP.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliersto secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Manage purchase orders, follow up on deliveries,and track material status to ensure timely availability and avoid productiondelays.

Maintain vendor databases and build strongrelationships with suppliers.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate withproduction, stores, quality, and other internal departments.

Compare quotations, conduct cost analyses, andsupport cost-reduction initiatives.

Resolve issues related to material quality,shortages, delivery delays, and supplier performance.

Ensure compliance with company procurementpolicies, SOPs, safety standards, and audit requirements.

Maintain accurate procurement records,documentation, and reports.





Handle day-to-daycoordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support smoothprocurement operations.

Requirements:

B.com, BA,BBA, B.Sc. (Chemistry)B tech / Textile Chemistry / Chemical Engineering /Diploma in relevant field
MBA (Supply Chain / Operations / Procurement / Marketing)
23 years of purchasing/procurement experience in dyes, chemicals, or allied industries.
Knowledge of chemical raw materials, vendor management, and procurement processes.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP systems.
Positive analytical and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:
Understanding of dye intermediates, textile chemicals, and specialty chemicals.
Cost analysis and inventory management experience.
Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing workplace.
