The WFM Assistant Manager – RTA & Reporting oversees the Workforce Management team, ensuring effective RTQM and reporting to optimize workforce efficiency and meet operational goals. This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement in performance management and generating reports that inform strategic decisions. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a team of WFM specialists, driving process improvements, and maintaining high service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of WFM planners and schedulers.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Coordinate team activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Forecasting and Planning:
Oversee the forecasting process to predict staffing needs based on historical data and business trends.
Develop and implement workforce plans to align with business objectives and operational requirements.
Scheduling:
Supervise the creation and maintenance of employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
Address scheduling conflicts and make adjustments in response to real-time changes in demand or staffing.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyze reports on workforce performance, adherence, and other key metrics.
Present insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in workforce management processes and implement best practices.
Drive initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency, accuracy, and overall team productivity.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments to understand their staffing needs and ensure effective coordination.
Communicate scheduling changes, updates, and key information to relevant stakeholders.
