Position: Lead Data Scientist

Location: Chennai Parrys Corner / Koramangala (Bengaluru)

Work Model: Primarily In office (Hybrid can be considered for candidates open to a contract model)

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Compensation: 50 LPA Fixed

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
Build predictive, classification, recommendation, and optimization models using structured and unstructured data.
Analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights and support strategic decision-making.
Develop scalable data science solutions using Python and industry-standard libraries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and model monitoring.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in data science and machine learning.

Required Skills
Strong expertise in Data Science and Python.




Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining.
Proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Experience with SQL and working with large-scale datasets.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech from a premium engineering institution, or
Degree in Statistics from a reputed institution.

Employment Model
Full-time: Standard compensation structure.
Hybrid (Contract Model): Can be considered based on candidate preference. Only fixed pay will be applicable; incentives/variable pay will not be provided.

Preferred Candidate Profile
8+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven track record of delivering ML/AI solutions.
Ability to lead data science initiatives from problem definition through production deployment.
Solid business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
Experience mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
