Role & responsibilities
Manage complete bookkeeping for US and UK clients.
Perform bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
Prepare management reports, budgets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and UK accounting standards.
Coordinate with CPAs and external accountants during tax filing and audits.
Review work completed by junior accountants and bookkeepers.
Identify prospects for process improvements and automation.
