Role & responsibilities

Be the Expert: Full lifecycle recruiting experience - understanding the job descriptions, sourcing, screening and qualifying the right candidates, negotiating and closing offers. Source candidates using Internet-based sourcing techniques: job boards, search engines, social networking tools etc. Conduct skilled assessment and verification for skills, experience, availability, compensation, willingness to travel/relocate and overall suitability for the position. Prepare submission documents for each shortlisted candidate and schedule interviews.

Be the Point of Contact: Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Form solid relationships with past applicants and passive candidates for future opportunities. Partner with 3rd party vendors to drive recruitment process, when necessary.

Stay Ahead: Creating and Maintaining robust Database of candidates across all verticals and domains.





Impact the Bottom Line: Organize candidate data and all communication in one platform i.e. Applicant Tracking System.

Keep Sutherland Aligned: Review HR practices and make sure they are applied through the entire recruiting process

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in any stream
6 + years of experience as a Sourcing Specialist, In-house recruiter or similar role
Experience in screening and evaluating candidates through various methods (phone interviewing, writing assessments etc.)
Experience in hiring for BPO positions is a mandate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
Excellent technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
