Role & responsibilities
Assist the Nursing Superintendent in overall nursing administration.
Supervise nursing services across OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, Emergency, Cath Lab, NICU, PICU, Dialysis, and other specialty areas.
Ensure implementation of NABH standards, nursing policies, and SOPs.
Monitor nursing documentation and patient care quality.
Prepare and manage duty rosters and manpower deployment.
Conduct nursing audits and quality improvement activities.
Ensure medication safety and patient safety practices.
Monitor infection prevention and control compliance.
Coordinate with Medical Superintendent, HR, Quality, Infection Control, and departmental HODs.
Conduct nursing orientation, competency assessments, and in-service training.
Handle patient complaints related to nursing services.
Ensure statutory compliance and nursing council regulations.
Maintain nursing records, reports, and departmental KPIs.
Participate in disaster management drills and emergency preparedness.

Preferred candidate profile
M.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing
Valid State Nursing Council Registration
Certification/Exposure to NABH Standards will be preferred.
