Main Responsibilities
Read engineering drawings and job instructions.
Set up CNC turning or milling machines.
Install tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Set tool offsets and work offsets.
Load and verify CNC programs.
Perform first-off inspection using measuring instruments.
Adjust machining parameters to maintain quality.
Troubleshoot setup problems.
Follow safety procedures and production schedules.
Skills Required
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of G-code and M-code basics.
Experience with measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial indicator).
Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
Robust problem-solving and attention to detail.
