Prototype Development and Testing:
Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and identify potential issues.
Conduct design reviews and iterate on designs based on test results and feedback.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA):
Optimize designs for productive and cost-effective manufacturing and assembly.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines.
Product Improvement and Optimization:
Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement.
Implement design changes to enhance product functionality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and recent technologies.
