Job Summary:

VGN Homes Private Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Legal Officer to strengthen our legal and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal due diligence, managing documentation, mitigating risks, and supporting seamless execution of real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive title due diligence and verification of land ownership documents.
Examine revenue records, Encumbrance Certificates (ECs), and related statutory documents.
Provide explicit and well-reasoned legal opinions along with risk assessments.
Draft, review, and vet agreements, sale deeds, joint development agreements, and other legal documents.
Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements across projects.




Handle and resolve legal queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all legal transactions.

Eligibility Criteria:
LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate legal functions.
Robust knowledge of property laws, land acquisition, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
