Role & responsibilities:
Review and validation of Bill of quantities/cost estimate given by consultants for MEP Works.
Prepare cost estimates and budgets for MEP works in coordination with design team and consultants.
3.Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Rate analysis of MEP items for the market rate justification.
Collaborate with Consultant, project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate contractor claims.
Assist in risk management and mitigation planning related to MEP works.
Checking of Contract document and billing terms for MEP works.
Change Order Management -Extra item quantity/rate verification for MEP works.
Monitor Budget/project costs and prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts,
and value engineering assessments.
Budget Monitoring for MEP works and control the cost during construction.
Gap analysis in awarded (BOQ) and executed work.
Preferred candidate profile:
Solid knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods.
Should have hands-on experience in execution of MEP works and quantity surveying with a focus on MEP works.
Proficiency in cost estimation for MEP works.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP (Farvision)
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work quick and meet tight deadlines.
Should be Mechanical/Electrical graduate having exposure in quantity surveying and cost management.
