About the Role

We are looking for an experienced finance and audit professional to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will bring solid hands-on expertise in accounting, statutory compliance, audit, and financial reporting, and will be comfortable working independently as well as coordinating with cross-functional and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
Handle statutory compliance including GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C), TDS computation and filing (24Q/26Q), and Income Tax Returns
Support and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, including liaising with external auditors
Prepare MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and variance reporting for management
Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards




Assist in ROC filings and other regulatory/compliance requirements as applicable
Supervise and guide junior accounts staff where required
Handle vendor management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations

Required Qualifications & Experience
CA Inter with a minimum of 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience, OR
CA Final (Qualified) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
Prior experience in audit firms and/or industry accounting roles preferred
Robust working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/SAP/similar ERP) and advanced MS Excel
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata

Preferred Skills
Experience with statutory and internal audits
Exposure to financial modeling, MIS reporting, and process improvement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
