The Food and Beverage Associate (Steward) is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure. The role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and handling guest requests professionally.

Role & responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, ingredients, and beverages.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar staff.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Ensure tables are properly set before guests arrive.
Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
Process bills and handle cash, card, or digital payments accurately.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.




Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Upsell menu items, special dishes, and beverages to increase sales.

Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications and Skills
Degree or diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience as a waiter/server is an advantage.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Solid customer service orientation.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Carrying trays, plates, and beverages during service.
