Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Manage load tendering, carrier coordination, and vehicle placement through transportation management systems.
Ensure on-time pickups, dock appointment adherence, and vehicle availability.
Track shipments in transit, monitor delays, and provide ETA updates to stakeholders.
Resolve delivery exceptions, returns, refusals, and unloading issues.
Coordinate Proof of Delivery (POD) collection and freight settlement activities.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Monitor transportation KPIs, compliance, and cost-performance metrics.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field.
25 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
Experience working with 3PLs, carriers, and transportation service providers.
Proficiency in SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and MS Excel.
Solid communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
