Responsibilities:

Administer general and regional anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures in the operating theatre.

Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout anaesthesia and post -operative recovery.

Perform and manage airway interventions, including intubation, extubation, and use of advanced airway devices.

Provide critical care support in the ICU, including ventilator management, haemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions.

Assist in the management of acute pain through regional anaesthesia techniques and multimodal analgesia protocols.

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless perioperative care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, anaesthesia charts, and ICU progress notes.

Participate in emergency response teams and manage critical incidents in OT and ICU settings.





Stay updated with clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and emerging best practices in anaesthesia and critical care.


Requirements:

MBBS degree with a robust academic record and completion of internship.

Completion of or active pursuit of postgraduate training in Anaesthesia (MD/DM in Anaesthesia) or equivalent.

Proficiency in ICU procedures including central line insertion, arterial line monitoring, and ventilator management.

Hands -on experience and familiarity with operating theatre protocols, sterile techniques, and anaesthesia equipment.

Robust understanding of pharmacology, especially anaesthetic agents, analgesics, and emergency drugs.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision -making skills under pressure.

Ability to work versatile shifts, including nights, weekends, and on -call duties as required.

Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
