We are seeking a talented Kafka Administrator to join our energetic team at Talent Worx. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our Kafka ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of messaging services. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing Kafka-related solutions to enhance data streaming and processing capabilities across the organization.

You will work collaboratively with development teams, ensuring timely availability of data and facilitating smooth integration with various applications. The ideal candidate will possess robust problem-solving skills and an in-depth understanding of distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Kafka cluster settings.
Monitor and optimize performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka brokers, producers, and consumers.




Implement security measures for Kafka clusters including authentication and authorization.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement Kafka-based solutions.
Document operational procedures and best practices regarding Kafka administration.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of Kafka internals, architecture, and configuration.
Experience with tools such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
Familiarity with cloud services and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
