Requirements
8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in a leadership role focused on DLP.
Lead the end-to-end management of the DLP platform (Forcepoint), including solution tuning, policy refinement, and business alignment.
Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance DLP policies to prevent data leakage and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Investigate and triage high-priority DLP incidents; collaborate with Legal, HR, and IT on insider threat and data misuse scenarios.
Establish a structured incident reporting and escalation process, offering actionable insights and policy improvement recommendations.
Conduct quarterly DLP risk assessments, trend analysis of incidents, and provide strategic input for policy updates.
Provide L2/L3 support, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and reduce false positives through policy fine-tuning and playbook optimization.
Implement context-aware DLP controls based on user behavior, data classification, and business risk scoring.
Integrate DLP events with SIEM tools and SOC workflows for enhanced visibility and correlation across security incidents.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) during audits and assessments related to data loss and privacy risks.
Mentor and upskill junior analysts (L2) on Forcepoint administration, advanced policy logic, and best practices.
Proven expertise with Forcepoint DLP: policy creation, tuning, incident response, and integrations.
Robust knowledge of DLP integrations across email, endpoints, web, and cloud environments.
Deep understanding of Indian data protection and regulatory requirements including RBI, SEBI, and DPDP.
Certified DLP Qualified (Forcepoint) or equivalent certification.
Preferred: CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence non-security stakeholders.
Experience with data classification tools and risk-based policy design.
Prior experience in mentoring and building high-performing DLP teams.
